During the Ideation Process, campus customers will create and submit ideas. The ideation process allows for tracking the progress of an idea as it moves through different stages: from idea to actualization. Business users create, submit, and collaborate on ideas through ServiceNow. Each idea is created with a unique idea number, which is displayed at the top of the ServiceNow self-service homepage immediately after submission. Clicking this link opens the Idea form.

Below are the steps performed during the Idea Creation Phase:

  1. Customers create and submit Ideas through ServiceNow.
  2. A record is created in ServiceNow and ServiceNow triggers an email notification to the Business Analysis team.
  3. The Business Analysis team reviews the idea and asks initial questions to the submitter and updates the information in the idea.
  4. The Business Analysis team reviews the idea details with the appropriate DIT director.
